Howdy, so I’m Ricky. I’m 20 years old and live in sun sun sunny Southern California. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley and I love it here. I love the city and nightlife but also greatly appreciate and enjoy time away from it all whether it be camping, taking a drive, or even a nice bike ride/walk. Art is my passion; from dance, to theater, to painting, to graphic design. I have nerdy tendencies. I love me some math and am very analytical and in my head. I pride myself on my intelligence but am always learning and like to live my life with an open mind. That being said, I still have my morals which I stand firmly behind. I’m big on family. I love my sister to death and can proudly say she’s one of my best friends. I put my friends before myself even when it’s not convenient for me. I’m gay I guess you could say, though I have/still have feelings for girls, but the boys drastically outweigh the girls. I’m a very optimistic and positive person and have a bright outlook on life. I am currently single and in fact have never actually been in a relationship as hard as it may seem to be. I don’t mind it. I enjoy being single and have up to this point, but if something happens then I’m open to it. I will admit though, I am a hopeless romantic and fall hard for people. I’m such a Romeo too, very fickle. I partially blame movies like 500 Days of Summer to fueling my love for romance. I’m fully in love with the idea of love.

I have a wide array of interests. When it comes to music I’ll listen to almost anything. I don’t really restrict myself to one genre of music. My iPod has anything and everything on it, though I must admit the most of any one genre of music is music from Glee. I love to dance so a song with a good beat and rhythm will make me move, but I also enjoy a nice relaxing song just to drive to. If I had to name a few of my favorite artists however I’d have to say Katy Perry, Vanessa Carlton, Daft Punk, and Weezer to name a few. I’d also say I’m addicted to “bad music” ie. television theme songs, music produced from reality tv personalities, and as I mentioned my collection of Glee songs. I’m a big horror movie buff. I love watching them to the point where I’m too afraid to sleep. Wes Craven has to be my favorite director. A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream are two of my all time favorite films. I’m a gore fan I guess you can say. I find stuff that would otherwise be disgusting or gut wrenching interesting. I live for Halloween. I cannot even begin to describe how that holiday makes me feel inside. When else do you get the chance to be whoever or whatever you’d like? I’ve dressed up as long as I can remmeber and hope to keep that going until I die haha. As you might have been able to tell, I’m a Gleek. I like musicals and high school and that show happens to give me the best of both worlds! I’m also sadly addicted to reality television. I can’t deny, I do love me some Bad Girls Club and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
